Wellingborough seconds were well beaten by Old Scouts which prompted skipper Owen Tomalin to suggest that too many players had their minds on the forthcoming Floodlit Cup semi-final at S&L this week instead of concentrating on the game in hand.

Boro's tries came from George Shipman, Lewis Jones and Dave Morgan with Mark Carter adding one conversion.
