Saturday 31 March With many players off on holiday, the side was boosted by luring local Rushden & Higham players to join Wellingborough in a Barbarians team to take on Pulborough and Northampton Old Scouts. In true Barbarians style, the games were played at a high flowing intense pace. Game 1: Wellingborough Baba's V Pulborough Score: 12 - 5 : Tries from Jake Hollins & Alex Smit - 1 conversion Alex Smit. Game 2: Wellingborough V Northampton Old Scouts Score: 5 - 5 : A second half score by Alex Smit in the corner rewarded by persistent Forwards pressure and excellent Backline defence.
