Boro Colts took the opportunity in this hastily rearranged friendly to try out a few experiments. They were not particularly concerned with the score line but nevertheless they were soundly beaten. Their points came from Ben Gardiner, Dom Driscoll and Lewis James with one try each.  Adam Martin added the one conversion.
