The Return to Rugby programme is aimed at offering new and lapsed players the opportunity to get involved with Rugby, with inclusive and enjoyable sessions around the basics and fundamentals of the sport. Targeted at adults from 18 +, the programme which is supported by England Rugby allows players to work their way through 10 weeks of sessions, starting from touch and other games, building into contact and set pieces and finishing with fixtures against other R2R/Social Sides.
Whatever level you’ve played to, whether you want to play socially, want to get back into competitive rugby or just simply want to get fit, we’ll tailor the sessions to suit your needs.
The sessions will start on Tuesday 24th April and will run for 10 weeks. 7pm - 8.30pm
There is no cost to taking part in the 10 week programme, but players looking to stay involved post this will be asked to become WRFC playing members.
Attend your first session, and you will get a complimentary beer after training as the Social side of Rugby is just as important as the playing side.
Food will also be provided after one of the sessions, depending on what the group fancies (Fish and Chips, Pizza, BBQ?)
