Scrappy Game but A team take the win
Johnson dislocates his shoulder but boro played on anyways!!!
Boro new this was going to be a tough encounter after loosing to Buzzard away and it proved to be. A big hand and thank you to Lee Johnson and Terry Keating for playing for Buzzard and making the game go ahead and teaching the boro front a few new tricks.
The conditions where ideal for rugby and a rare chance to play on the first team pitch set up a good encounter until Eddie Johnson ruined it by dislocating his shoulder the first ten minutes meaning we had to relocate the game to the middle pitch. Hope Eddie made it to hospital not sure if he put anything on social media wanting sympathy.
Once the game got moved boro scored two tries in the first half with Harry Bryan bouncing of a few tackles and going over and me Rob Armstrong getting on the end of a chip ahead and dotted down. Buzzard also got a try making the game close at half time.
In the second half boro scored another 6 tries with Harry Bryan getting two more, Aiden McAvoy getting two, Joe Staden one and Paul Dennis one. Some silly mistakes and a massive hand off in my face saw Buzzard score three tries to making the game a tense affair. Also in the second half Luke Smith not only finally got a conversion he also got smashed in the face again but atleast e made it into the 2nd half.
Man of the Match went to Allan Rigby for putting in a good performance against some seasoned front rowers.
Next game is next week 1st April v Huntingdon 2nd's away.
