Quick start, strong finish!
Boro's U16's did the opposite of last week and started on fire away at Huntingdon.. Two early tries from Jack Warman who crashed over from short range and another length of the pitch effort from Ben Plowman meant that Boro led10-0. Huntingdon then showed that they weren't finished yet and as Boro went to sleep Huntingdon scored a try of their own and two penalty kicks saw them lead 13-10 at the break.
The second half was one way traffic as Boro's forward power and match fitness showed. Tries came from Josh Anderson twice, Dom Meylan Stevenson and George Crisp. Also finally Jake Samwell managed a conversion!! Final score was 13-32there has to be a mention for the Stags in as much as they have had a shocking season for injuries and have not played many games, they stuck to their task well and did themselvesand their club proud.special mentions this week go to George Crisp, Reece Kerr, welcome back from injury, Morgan Skett for playing out of position, Josh Anderson for getting off his "death bed" and Ryan Hodges. Man of the match was Ben Plowman
