Wellingborough 34 v  Leighton Buzzard 10

The seconds with numerous changes to the selected side, started the new year off with a convincing win against Buzzard.  Ben Batten took the honours standing in at hooker with two tries. There were further tries with one each for Phil Meyer, Mark Croxen, Mark Carter and Chris Mears who was a late addition to the team after returning from work commitments in Scotland and consequently sorely missed in the first team.  Mark Carter added one conversion and Matt Westley the other.
