Wellingborough 60 v Olney 7

Boro regained the Lou Wilkinson trophy from Olney with a convincing win. With several players on East Midlands duty Boro gave a run out to several Colts and a trial to New Zealander Hugh Dunnett who has moved into the  area.  Dunnett played a large part in the win although he was moved to fly half to cover for Pete Vickers from his favoured centre position and he showed what a good signing he could be if Boro can meet his terms.  Colt Joe Marsden ran in two tries along with George Shipman and Dunnett himself who would fit in nicely alongside Vickers.  Boros scoring was completed with single tries from Colt Ollie Keeves, Ben Heffernan, Chris Shipman and Dom Smart.  Dunnett signed off with five conversions to round off Boro's season.
