Scotland Success for Wellingborough Player

Congratulations to Wellingborough Player Ellen Dewson on her selection in to the Scotland U20s success. Ellen follows in the footsteps of Danny Hobbs and Ethan Waller who have had recent success at International U20 Level.

Ellen and the Scotland Women under-20s are set to test themselves against Belgium Women in Brussels this Sunday (20 March, kick-off 3pm local, 2pm GMT).

About 50 players have been involved in Scotland Women under-20 camps this season from a range of Scottish and English clubs.

Miller said: “Scotland Women under-20 is a development squad in terms of giving girls the opportunity to step up and play senior women’s rugby.

“At the same time, it’s also about performance, as they’re representing their country and they’ve got to uphold the standards of being an international athlete.
