Development game at the OG's

Boro's large squad put through their paces
Sunday morning saw Wellingborough's Colts take to the field again at their near rivals, with several players feeling the effects from yesterdays game the squad was down to the bare minimum. OG's scored early on and once the game settled down Boro found their feet, several breaks from Josh Anderson led to his first try and as the half closed some good stepping from John Naylor on the wing saw him score for a half time lead of 17-5.
Boro's legs tired as the second half wore on and OG's sensed blood scoring three tries and converting one mainly through Boro's decision to stop tackling!!
So with a few minutes left Boro found themselves trailing 22-17 until Josh Anderson got his second and Joel Richardson was unlucky with his conversion from out wide against the wind. 22-22
There were several players in new positions that conducted themselves well as did the two hookers in the backs, well done boys.
